Candle Care
A Better Burn Starts with Proper Care
Follow these simple steps to enjoy a cleaner, safer, and longer-lasting candle.
Before Every Burn
• Trim the wooden wick to approximately ⅛ inch.
• Remove any loose wick pieces or debris from the wax.
• Place the candle on a stable, heat-resistant surface away from drafts.
The First Burn
Allow the wax to melt evenly toward the edges of the vessel during the first burn. This helps prevent tunneling and encourages an even burn throughout the life of the candle.
Never burn a candle for longer than four hours at a time.
Candle Safety
• Never leave a burning candle unattended.
• Keep candles away from children, pets, drafts, and flammable materials.
• Do not move the candle while it is burning or while the wax is hot.
• Discontinue use when approximately ½ inch of wax remains.
• Never use water to extinguish your candle.
Wax Melt Care
Use wax melts only in an approved wax warmer. Do not add water, and never leave a warmer unattended. Allow the wax to cool completely before removing or replacing it.
Each candle is hand-poured in small batches, so slight variations are a natural part of the process.
